SPLASH Original Socks - Hong Kong Feathers of Rainbow

We have launched two types of rainbow socks, namely "Taiwan Rainbow Wings" and "Hong Kong Rainbow Feathers". The two designs aim to showcase and emphasize the ties between Taiwan and Hong Kong in terms of diversity, equality and respect. The design of "Taiwan Rainbow Wings" is inspired by Taiwan's rich diversity and open attitude towards gay rights. The shape of the wings symbolizes freedom and flight, while the rainbow colors represent diversity and inclusion. Each rainbow wing represents a bright individual, connected with each other to form a beautiful whole. This design echoes Taiwanese society’s open attitude towards diverse genders and sexual orientations, and conveys the values ​​of equality and respect. The design of "Hong Kong Rainbow Feather" is inspired by feathers, which symbolize the diversity and uniqueness of an individual. Each feather has a unique color, texture and shape. This reminds us that each of us is a unique being with our own unique value and contribution. The colors and textures of feathers show the existence of multiculturalism and gender diversity, and call on us to respect and accept the differences of everyone, and look forward to the day when we gather feathers to form wings and fly into the sky. There is an obvious connection between the two designs in style and elements. The rainbow color is a common feature, symbolizing diversity and tolerance, and is also one of the symbols of the LGBTQ+ movement. This common element visually connects Taiwan’s Rainbow Wings and Hong Kong’s Rainbow Feathers, highlighting the two regions’ shared values ​​of equality and respect. Whether we are in Taiwan or Hong Kong, we should respect and accept people of different sexual orientations and encourage people to pursue an equal, accepting and inclusive society.

80% cotton, 18% elastane, 2% spandex

Each pair of socks is carefully designed by socks, which is very local and authentic. The names of the socks are named after places and streets in Hong Kong, adding a bit of local color. Each pair of SPLASH socks is woven with 85% combed cotton. The combing process is to use a combing machine to remove short fibers (below 1cm) during the spinning process, leaving long and neat fibers. Long fiber, thus removing impurities in cotton to obtain high-quality cotton yarn. SPLASH's socks are designed with a lot of thought in order to make each pair of socks more comfortable and durable.
