Established in Macau circa 2016, Stardust Journey promotes a lifestyle filled with patterns. Each pattern has it’s own tale and design inspiration, including and not pertaining only to: topics of global awareness, travel and culture. Presently speaking, the brand offers a wide collection of their patterns mostly printed on silks, whilst expanding their lifestyle furnishing variety (such as carpets, cushion covers, table cloth, aprons, wallpaper). Behind the brand itself is one line and a textile designer: “You are only a piece of dust, replaceable by the minute.” Jovinia Antonio, designer and pattern enthusiast, was motivated by these last words from a former career experience. In her leave, she picked up her learnt knowledge from studying overseas in Textile and Surface Design, thus becoming the “Stardust” of this journey, aim-ing to find her way through the creation of her own personal brand. “Even if I am a piece of dust, I will find my glow amongst the stars, or perhaps even becom-ing the planet myself!” Her determination is also reflected within the tales of this brand, which in turn attract people sharing similar experiences.
