Rickyy Wong Studio is the Hong Kong based fashion label from Creative Director and menswear designer Rickyy Wong and womenswear designer Scott Marsh, founded after their graduation from Tokyo's Bunka Fashion MA Program. The label’s focus on the intersection between Eastern culture and Western garment cutting reflects the designers’ Asian heritage combined with the duo‘s fashion training in Tokyo, Paris and Melbourne. A fascination with history, folklore and the cultural melting pot of East Asia’s vibrant cities form the inspirational bedrock of each of collection. Working with a network of creative collaborators and textile artists based in Asia and Europe, and manufacturing locally and ethically, the studio’s team aim to combine their globe-spanning experience into a sensitive interpretation of our digitally connected international community. Strongly focused on sustainability, the brand continually aims to incorporate more eco-conscious materials and techniques into each collection. They source the highest quality fabrics from Japan, China and Europe and work with suppliers and producers who share their values. Each season, the label aims to showcase the high quality craftmanship, technical skills and textile heritage of China, interpreted in a contemporary and unique way.
